Cádiz is all about the sea. If you walk the streets of the old town in any given direction, within ten minutes you’re confronted by it. It’s surrounded on three sides by the Atlantic, with only a narrow strip of land keeping it attached to the Spanish mainland. It’s almost magnetic, the way it draws you towards the lovely blue water and the lovely golden beaches.
Add in the light of the Costa de la Luz and the ever-changing tidal contour of the seashore. It all combines to form a potent mix of land, sea and light. To be consumed with caution.
